 The PWRIA is a unit of certified water rescue instructors located throughout the state of Pennsylvania. The purpose of the association shall be to discuss mutual problems, share experiences, establish uniform standards in the instruction of the water rescue programs, and offer support and recommendations to the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission. Our mission is to promote water and ice rescue training for fire and rescue department personnel.
